OUR HISTORY
SALT LAKE CITY, UT
Water & Power Technologies, Inc. - Headquarters
In 1898, Mount Olympus Fruit and Livestock Farm Company began selling natural spring water frozen and in bottles. The mountain spring is near the base of the eastern slope of Mount Olympus, a few miles east of Salt Lake City. In 1964, Mount Olympus Waters acquired the Utah franchise for Continental Water Conditioning as a way to enter the water purification equipment business.
The firm's first water purification systems were ion-exchange service bottles and reverse osmosis systems that others built. In 1983, the equipment division began designing and manufacturing its own skid-mounted and mobile RO and DI systems for power generators and other industrial plants.
